Job Description

- Ensure to carry out proper handing over/taking over of shift, including assigned area cleaning, equipment, cleaning supplies and tools.

- To give proper briefing and instructions to all supervisors working under him during each shift.

- Undertake complete round of all areas assigned throughout the shift to verify checklist and scheduled tasks are followed as per the calendar given.

- Undertake regular visits to vendor supplies store to ensure adequate supplies are available.

- Ensure that consumables and tools supplied by the vendor are of good quality as per our specified standards.

- If any deficiency found in items or tools supplied by the vendor are not acceptable, it will be informed to the vendor for immediate replacement. 

- Ensure to consolidate, on a daily basis, attendance of all areas under responsibility in the attendance file.

- Ensure to carry out thorough checking of all cleaning equipment are in perfect working condition. In case of any fault detected, it should be logged promptly with the help desk for repairs.

- Ensure to follow up aggressively on all opened logged complaints and to escalate it to the next level, in case of non-closure of logged complaints.

- To coordinate with all other departments for proper and smooth performance of HK tasks and responsibilities.

- To develop good relationship with colleagues in other departments and also with vendors working under him for smooth functioning of HK responsibilities.

- To implement strict discipline amongst staff working under him and to ensure stated policies and procedures are followed at all times.

- Ensure to communicate clearly and properly to staff working under him, any instructions given to HK by the management on time to time basis.

- Must be willing to work in shift work, including night time.

- Ensure to keep all records updated including checklists, work schedules, attendance records and other staff documents at all times.

- Ensure to prepare work schedules and tasks calendars for all Supervisors working under him during the shift.

- Ensure that all Supervisors and attendants working under him are wearing clean uniforms and staffs are well groomed at all times.

- Ensure to keep HK manager and Operations manager informed of all matters requiring special consideration and attention.

- Ensure all lost and found items are properly handled and promptly handed over to the CS desk for further handling.

- Ensure that all supervisors working under him are thoroughly briefed on all tasks and motivated at all times.

- To carry out training sessions, both on site and off site, for all staff working under him on time to time basis.

- To undertake strict monitoring of budgetary limits assigned at all times. At no time any cost to breach these limits assigned.

- To undertake any assignment given by the senior management on time to time basis.
