Job Description

- Ensure to check all Janitorial staff is adequately deployed and present as per the contract terms.

- Checking of attendance of cleaning staff at all areas by recording it in the register.

- Responsible for proper shift handover to the next shift include assigned area cleaning, equipment, desired cleaning supplies & tools.

- Checking that supply of tools and consumables are adequately provided to staff by the vendor.

- Assigns attendants their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.

- Ensuring that attendants are in neat and clean uniform and are in presentable condition.

- Ensuring all attendants is performing their tasks as per the schedule/calendar given to them.

- To give daily briefing and necessary instructions to the attendants at the beginning of the staff shift.

- To obtain complete briefing on any issues or faults reported in the previous shift and its status.

- Ensure to take round of all washroom facilities at the start of each shift and to complete the checklist after checking of all tasks listed, and to verify the checking process by signing the checklist.

- Ensure to list down all faults finding and deficiencies on the checklist.

- Ensure all mother rooms are kept in highest standard of hygienic condition and all installations are in perfect working condition.  

- Ensure all faults are logged with the Help desk for prompt handling and fixing.

- To keep aggressive follow ups on all open logged complaints with the Help desk for prompt closure.

- To ensure attendants are continuously briefed, motivated and on job training throughout the shift. 

- To properly communicate any additional or special instructions from the management to the attendants staff working in the shift.

- Appropriately deal with the lost and found articles & ensures the original items are handed over to the CS desk.

- Ensure to promptly attend to any complaints received from customers, CS desk or any other source.

- Ensure any incident occur during the shift must be handled swiftly and politely and to bring such incident to the knowledge of Senior Housekeeping management.

- Ensure to take appropriate safety measures during cleaning e.g. cordon off wet floor and to place a warning/caution sign to ensure customer/staff safety.

- To keep the Housekeeping operations and manager informed of all matters requiring special attention & consideration.
