Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Coordination and Supervision - Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various departments in the organization.
Financial - Prepare and control operational budgets. Control inventory. Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the company.
Production - Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production & warehousing. Monitor performance and implement improvements. Ensure quality of products. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity. Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery. Provide technical support where necessary.
Ensure production departments have sufficient time to manufacture and deliver on time according to the sales department request.
Communication - Communicating with all the relevant people / depts. and coordinating all relevant inputs (people, plant and processes) to ensure production output and on time delivery targets are achieved.
Strategic Input - Liaison with top management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.
Planning, scheduling and reviewing workload to ensure production output and on time delivery targets are achieved cost effectively.
Ensuring that the shop floor has the necessary manpower, competence, skill, knowledge, plant and tooling required in order to achieve production targets.
Best Practices - Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
